Retracing the steps of Lewis & Clark

Meriwether Lewis and William Clark led the expedition through this country. When you retrace their steps from Missoula, MT. through Idaho and on to the coast you will follow Hwy 12. This is - or parallels their actual route. The history of this famous undertaking is well documented. The activities, adventures and lodging along this route are centered around providing you with a memorable experience. Sacajawea was born to a Shoshone tribe in what was then Idaho territory, in the Lemhi Valley. She was kidnapped at a young age by the Hidatsas and taken east to the Great Plains. Sacajawea was Lewis and Clark's Indian guide.
